| Borrow Materials from the LVC Library? |
You may borrow up to four books at one time.
The lending period is two weeks.
The fee for late books is 50 cents per day.
You may renew the book for two more weeks by visiting, emailing, or calling the library.

| You may renew an item for an additional two weeks by visiting, emailing, or calling the library near the time the item is due at the library. |

| Does the Library charge late fees? |
The fee for late LVC Library books is 50 cents per day.
If you have an overdue fine on your account, you will not be able to borrow any materials until that fine is paid in full. Any unpaid fines or overdue books will affect your graduation privileges. |

| Find information in the Library? |
The LVC Library collection is designed to help students in all programs locate information to help with class assignments.
The LVC Library has books, magazines, journals, and newspapers, along with electronic resources, such as databases to find articles and electronic books, to help you locate information.
If you are unable to find the information that you need, please ask the library assistants or the librarian to help you. |

| What types of books are in the Library? |
The LVC Library has the following materials available to students
- collection of legal books
- reference collection: materials may not leave the library
- books for all programs
- novels for recreational reading
- children's storybooks

| Does the Library have computers for students? |
The LVC Library has
- pcs
- laptops to be used in the library
- macintosh computers
All the computers have Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Access. Also, they have access to the Internet. |

| Does the Library have a Multi-Media Station? |
| The library has a TV, VCR, and DVD player available for students to view videos and DVDs for class assignments. |

| Can I Print from Library computers? |
Students must buy paper at the library for the black and white printer. Paper is sold in packs of 10 sheets for 10 cents. It is the student's responsibility to put the paper in the printer. Students may buy paper from a store and put in the printer.
The library has a color printer which has a fee of 75 cents for each print made. The student does not purchase paper to put in the color printer. |

| Can I make photocopies in the Library? |
| The library has a photocopier available for students to use. The cost to make a copy is 5 cents. |

| Does the Library contain periodicals: magazines, journals and newspapers? |
The LVC Library collection contains 5 newspapers and 90 magazines and journals.
The magazines and journals cover entertainment, sports, travel, health, business, massage therapy, graphic arts, technology, and criminal justice.
Periodicals may not be borrowed. They must be used in the library. |
